Dear Teamates,
It is was an honor to play with you October 4, 2008 at Mimosa.
After all the preparation, meetings (which I didnt attend), and individual efforts, I am proud and will always be proud to be part of the CHAMPION team. ;D
I have personally seen growth in everyone, not just in their strategy, tactics, skills and gameplay but everyone has grown emotionally and everyone showed HEART.
This was so far the most technical and hardest course the team has played in. The gamesite was irregular, with undulating terrain and had a mix of sandy and soily surface - we prevailed.
My warmest thanks to everyone.
To celebrate and give credence, the greatest moments and trivia in the field (these are the ones I remember):
> Team Alpha after their game against Socom, Cathy and Meme taking off their masks - Alpha not being Alpha but was Bravo in disguise, as our competition held a conservative position, simply brought a smile to my face (devious)
> Raf running in the center and getting the bomb
> Archie's first tournament - finally, but were still waiting for some degree of sponsorship
> My perenial pokemon monster - Reymar who got a knife kill because of dry fire
> Cyclo with a record 8 kills in a game
> Team Bravo who killed everyone in a game and even diffused the bomb - the only team in the tourney that killed all 15 members of an opposing team
> To Eli who sealed the win in our last game by getting the bomb, running thru the trenches, jumping over the trench, hitting his thigh in cluster of tires and contorting his body and using his shoulder to break his fall to place the bomb in the diffusal area. Up to this moment I cannot understand how his body could be that flexible.
> Russel which stitched someones face with BBs
> 30 BB bags spent in the tourney
> To Ferdie who didn't get into an argument
> And to myself for melting my first generation systema motor which has been gallantly serving me for 3 years (irerebuild ko to, maganda pa magnets!!! kahit kurbado na ang commutator... - im a cheap b@st@rd and proud of it)
My account is just the tip of iceberg so to speak. Everyone had their moment of glory and that is what's important - EVERYONE CONTRIBUTED!
K9 HOOOOAAAAHHHH!
